GE Healthcare – New Packing Facility EPC
Background
GE Healthcare is the $19 billion healthcare business of GE. GE is a leading provider of medical imaging, monitoring, biomanufacturing and cell and gene therapy technologies.
Solution
Haden Freeman undertook an EPC project for a new sterile manufacturing and containment suite. The design was unique in that it has two competing issues, sterility and containment of radiation. The facility was designed and constructed by a GE Healthcare/Haden Freeman joint team and the project was completed over a two year period.
